About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Media Content Creator to join our award-winning media team at the British Red Cross. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to develop and create engaging content and campaigns that raise awareness for important causes.

As a Digital Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for promoting greater public awareness and perception of the British Red Cross using our social media channels. This includes creating compelling content for Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Create high-quality visual and written content that resonates with our online audiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Strategy and Communications directorate to ensure integrated communications and innovative storytelling.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marketing, communications, or digital media.
  • Proven experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum based on hours worked (Inner London Weighting of £1,300-£1,600 will be added if applicable).
