Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team at TIP Group. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tankers, preferably waste tankers or HGV types, and a strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service, and repair tankers to high maintenance standards.
  • Identify and highlight business opportunities to the line manager.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance details.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with road traffic law and company policy.
  • Undertake necessary training to maintain and improve skills.
  • Provide high customer service levels while meeting specified deadlines.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct oneself in a way that demonstrates TIP values and behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Time served experience working with tankers or HGV types.
  • City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications in a similar area.
  • High level of enthusiasm, good communication skills, and basic knowledge of computers.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Initiative to work autonomously.
