Job Title: Lead Commercial Finance Business Partner

Resourcery Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to support a leading Retail business in achieving its strategic goals and financial targets.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, business partnering, and strategic decision-making gained within a Retail environment, specifically with an online retail element to the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various business units to provide financial insights, recommendations, and support to drive business performance and profitability
  • Analyse financial data and market trends to provide strategic guidance and support in making key business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and support budgeting and planning processes
  • Present financial analysis and reports to senior management to support key decision-making processes
  • Lead financial evaluation of commercial initiatives and investment opportunities to drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities to optimize business performance and profitability through cost analysis and revenue optimization
  • Provide support to the sales and marketing teams in pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and ROI analysis
  • Serve as the finance business partner by building strong relationships and providing financial insights to drive strategic objectives
Requirements
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
  • Possess extensive retail / Finance Business Partnering experience
  • Proven experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, and business partnering with a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strategic thinking and ability to provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities
