The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of Dental Nurses and Support Workers, supporting teaching and mentoring, and promoting a learning culture. They will work autonomously, prioritizing their workload and accountable for their professional work.
To excel in this role, you will require a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy or equivalent qualification, along with highly developed specialist knowledge and manual dexterity. Your ability to use a digital intra-oral scanner and analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions will also be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake independent clinics and manage treatment plans
- Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage a small team of Dental Nurses and Support Workers
- Support teaching, mentoring, and assessment of students and staff
Requirements:
- Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy or equivalent
- Qualified Orthodontic Dental Nurse registered through General Dental Council
- Highly developed specialist knowledge and manual dexterity
- Ability to use a digital intra-oral scanner
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
