Job Overview

Marsden is seeking a highly experienced Residential Property Counsel Lead to join its team in the UK.

This exciting opportunity requires a skilled property lawyer with 3PQE + experience in acting for housebuilders, who can provide expert guidance on property projects and ensure smooth transactions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, and have a deep understanding of property law.

Responsibilities
  • Lead external counsel on property projects, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Analyse terms for bulk sales and land purchases, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to achieve project goals.
  • Draft transaction documents, including contracts and development agreements.
  • Ensure conditions for bank funding agreements are met, facilitating smooth project progression.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3PQE + experience in property law, preferably from a reputable firm or relevant in-house experience dealing with housebuilders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
Salary Range

£80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
