Apprentice Multi Skilled Tradesperson

Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join their Voids team in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties within social housing to bring properties up to letting standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending properties to carry out repairs and maintenance duties
  • Resolving problems and ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking as needed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on work progress
  • Providing out-of-hours cover via a call-out rota

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing) or undertaking this qualification
  • Recent experience in a similar role within social housing is advantageous
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Additional skills in plumbing, carpentry, and plastering are advantageous
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Full valid UK driving license required
