Clinical Deputy Manager

Location: West Midlands
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a luxurious and purpose-built residential and dementia care home. As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager and the Non-Clinical Deputy to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
The ideal candidate will have a background in care management, gained within an elderly care home, and possess excellent knowledge of care and clinical standards. You will be a self-starter, able to motivate your team and ensure the excellent quality of care that our provider is known for is delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
- Lead a team of nurses and unit managers to ensure quality care is given to all residents
- Liaise with families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure kindness and professionalism are demonstrated
- Ensure a good knowledge of care standards, audits, medication, DOLS, etc.
Requirements:
- A current NMC PIN
- A background in care management gained within an elderly care home
- Excellent knowledge of care and clinical standards
