About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team as our new Technical Leadership Position. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who can drive technological innovation in the engineering sector and oversee the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT network infrastructure.

As our new Technical Leadership Position, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support for our team and collaborating with our IT managed services providers while transitioning to in-house IT resources. You will also have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop your skills in areas such as cloud computing and software applications.

We offer a range of benefits including a competitive salary of £52,000-£55,000 per year, dependent on experience, and a location in Stafford with excellent transportation links and a range of amenities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the stability, security, and efficiency of IT network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT managed services providers while transitioning to in-house IT resources.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support for the team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong knowledge in network management (LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, switching).
  • Proficiency in software such as Creo, PTC Windchill, and Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms.
