Job Title: Design and Technology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Technology Department as a Design and Technology Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to teaching staff and students, ensuring a high-quality design and technology experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teaching staff in delivering design and technology lessons, ensuring students receive a relevant and effective learning experience.
  • Provide technical support to the Technology Department, including maintaining machinery and equipment, and monitoring consumables.
  • Prepare materials for practical lessons, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of design and technology principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing support to teaching staff and students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, staff, and external partners.
