Unreal Gigs is seeking a Sustainability Insights Professional to drive positive environmental impact and inform sustainable decision-making.

About the Role

We're looking for an expert in sustainability data analysis to join our team. As a Sustainability Insights Professional, you will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets to uncover insights that shape sustainability strategies and reduce carbon footprints.

You will collaborate with environmental scientists, policy experts, and business leaders to gather, analyze, and visualize data related to sustainability initiatives. Your expertise will drive strategies around energy efficiency, waste reduction, carbon management, and overall sustainable practices, helping Unreal Gigs build a greener, more responsible organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustainability Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data on energy use, emissions, waste, water usage, and other sustainability metrics. Ensure accuracy and interpret trends over time to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Develop detailed reports and data dashboards that track sustainability KPIs, such as carbon footprint, energy consumption, and waste reduction progress. Create visualizations that make complex data understandable and actionable for decision-makers.
  • Carbon Footprint and Emissions Analysis: Perform carbon accounting and emissions analysis to quantify the organization's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Identify areas for improvement and help develop reduction strategies in line with industry standards, such as GHG Protocol.
  • Sustainability Goals and Strategies: Work with sustainability and environmental teams to define sustainability goals and track their progress. Provide data-driven recommendations for achieving targets in energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, and more.
  • Sustainability Metrics and Standards: Keep abreast of emerging sustainability frameworks, metrics, and industry standards, such as CDP, TCFD, and ESG reporting. Ensure that sustainability metrics align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Reporting: Assist in preparing sustainability reports for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure transparency and accuracy in reporting, helping to build trust and accountability in Unreal Gigs' sustainability efforts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Sustainability Data Analysis Expertise: Strong experience in data analysis focused on sustainability metrics, such as energy consumption, carbon emissions, water usage, and waste management.
  • Data Analysis Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R.
  • Sustainability Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, such as GHG Protocol, CDP, and ESG reporting.
  • Environmental Impact Assessment: Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and lifecycle analysis to quantify and understand environmental effects.

A bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience in sustainability analysis or environmental data management is highly valued.

A salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year is expected for this position, depending on location and experience.
