Capital Allowance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Allowance Manager to join our Tax team at BDO LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day analysis and production of capital allowances and land remediation relief claims and advice for a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide capital allowances advisory and valuation services to clients
  • Support tax partners and directors in proposals and pitching for capital allowances advisory work
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of capital allowances and land remediation legislation
  • Manage a substantial client portfolio and actively seek opportunities for developing new clients and services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver wider business solutions and support on tax due diligence and transaction exercises
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in providing capital allowances advisory and valuation services
  • MRICS/ATT/CTA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Keen interest in developing further and progressing your career in capital allowances
  • Specialist knowledge and ability to deal with complex tax issues
  • Project management and staff management experience, including mentoring and coaching junior associates
