Join Our Team as an Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at Five Guys. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of Shift Managers and Crew members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in delivering store results and driving sales while controlling costs.
  • Lead from the front, working with the team on the line and on floor with customers to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Manage and develop a team of Shift Managers and Crew members, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
