We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior M&E Design and Engineering Director to join our team at Oliver Sanderson Group PLC. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary design team focused on decarbonisation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure quality control and compliance in all design-related activities.
  • Develop and implement Building Information Modelling and digital information management strategies.
  • Set design objectives aligned with the company's goals.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with design and engineering through a dedicated committee.
  • Promote strong communication and inclusion within the design team and across the division.
  • Support innovation and digital transformation within the division.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all design and engineering activities.
  • Manage budgets related to design and engineering functions.
Requirements
  • A strong leader with extensive experience at a senior level managing multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams across various projects.
  • A track record within M&E and exceptional project and change management skills.
  • A thorough knowledge of business assurance and risk management systems.
  • Proven experience in implementing new systems and ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of digital information management and BIM strategies.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, ideally with a master's degree in design, M&E Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Industry experience in construction, M&E, engineering, or contractor firms.
