You will be responsible for developing and implementing the quality management system, ensuring products meet customer requirements, and supporting the core business to achieve commercial targets. You will work closely with teams across the company, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of quality's impact on products and business.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of quality policies, processes, and standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to audit, document, and update PPAP documents.
- Responsible for maintaining the PPAP tracker and ensuring suppliers have related documents and quality manuals.
- Work with Quality Engineers to establish quality concerns investigation protocol and use SCAR and 8D process as part of the investigation.
- Maintenance of the Quality Issues Database system.
- Quality system experience (maintenance & external system audits).
- Quality problem solving, corrective actions, and investigation.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- HND in engineering, mechanical engineering, or quality engineering.
- Previous experience of at least 6 years within a quality role.
- Supporting the team to achieve overall commercial targets.
- Long-term working relationship with multiple departments.
- Willingness to travel.
This role is an office-based position reporting to the UK-based Quality Assurance Team Manager, with the possibility of international travel when required.
