Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We have two exciting opportunities for a Band 7 Medical Surgical Dietetic team lead. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will be responsible for leading a team covering infectious diseases, respiratory, and cardiology across Heartlands and Good Hope hospitals. This role will also focus on surgery across the Heartlands and Solihull sites.

Heartlands Hospital is a regional centre for infectious diseases, and Solihull Hospital includes our newly opened elective surgery hub. As a result, there are many service development and quality improvement opportunities in both roles. You will work with the wider medical surgical team to support your goals and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

The salary for this position is £55,941 - £67,562 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development, flexible working arrangements, and a commitment to wellbeing. You will be expected to promote nutrition and raise the profile of dietetics across the Trust, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

This role will also provide opportunities for leadership development, including responsibility for day-to-day management of a team of dietitians and dietetic assistants. The post will sit within our dynamic medical surgical team, striving for excellence in all aspects of their role.
