About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a service for adults with complex needs.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures
- Being an active member of the team, with a range of responsibilities over the day-to-day operation
- Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greet visitors in a professional manner
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users
- Helping create a positive culture
- Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post
- Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
- Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
- Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively
- Be a good communicator
- Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
