Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is ££65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of industry-leading health, safety, and environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives within the Morrison Construction Central Business Unit.

You will assist and guide the team in promoting a HSE culture consistent with Morrison Construction's Challenging Beliefs and Affecting Behaviours in all programmes and projects. This includes ensuring high levels of safety performance and identifying areas for continual improvement.

In conjunction with the team and operational staff, you will work to ensure all aspects of design, construction, installation, and commissioning are organised and managed to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing industry-leading health, safety, and environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives.
  • Promoting a HSE culture consistent with Morrison Construction's values.
  • Working closely with the team to identify areas for continual improvement and achieving high levels of safety performance.
  • Coordinating with the supply chain to promote the best working practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have relevant HS&E experience in a similar industry. You should hold a NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate, be a member of IOSH (TechIOSH as a minimum) or IIRSM, and possess GDPR Awareness Training.

Apart from these essential requirements, having an appropriate CSCS Card Professional Status Card would be beneficial.
