About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Data Science and Innovation to lead our data initiatives and build a world-class data team at Tribal Tech - The Digital, Data & AI Specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Data Strategy: Align with the company's objectives and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead and Mentor a Team of Data Professionals: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and collaborate with senior leadership to identify data needs and opportunities.
  • Oversee Data Management and Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, and establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Drive Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning: Develop and implement models to extract actionable insights from data, and collaborate with business units to identify key metrics and develop reporting frameworks.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Trends: Evaluate the potential impact of emerging trends and technologies on the business, and promote the use of data analytics to uncover trends and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • 7+ Years of Experience in data management, analytics, and leadership roles.
  • Proven Track Record of developing and implementing data strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong Understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data security best practices.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau).
