Holroyd Howe is a leading contract caterer providing innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. Our team of experienced professionals tailor our catering service provision to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £12.75 per hour, with various benefits including free meals while at work, career development opportunities, HIT Apprenticeships, reward and recognition schemes, people awards, and 28 holiday days inclusive of bank holidays. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program and a Recommend a Friend scheme.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can support our kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organised environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for washing up, basic food preparation, and keeping the kitchen and dining rooms clean and safe. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Washing up and ensuring all equipment is cleaned and sanitised
* Preparing basic foods as required by the kitchen team
* Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and dining environment
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. You should have good attention to detail and be able to follow instructions. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is desirable, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
