We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counter Lead to join our team at La Mer. As a Counter Lead, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Manage inventory, facilities, and cash reconciliation
  • Recruit, train, and develop Sales Associates to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Previous business planning experience, including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management, and cash reconciliation
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
