This role involves skilful preparation of complex Caribbean dishes and specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, and also be engaged in training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.

  • Location : London
  • Gross OTE salary package : circa £34,000 + (incl. share of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
  • Weekly working hours / days : 48 hours / 5 days

Requirements:

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:

  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Caribbean dishes & Specialties
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
