Culinary Officer

The Culinary Officer is responsible for the daily provisions of adequate meals for the crew and passengers on board. This role requires a high level of culinary expertise, as well as the ability to manage provisions and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for the crew and passengers
- Manage provisions, including requisitioning and inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Supervise the storage and consumption of provisions
- Provide a monthly list of provisions required within the set budget
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as directed by the Master
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, as well as experience in managing provisions and maintaining a kitchen environment. They will also be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Culinary Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared to a high standard, and that the kitchen environment is clean and safe. They will also be responsible for managing provisions, including requisitioning and inventory, and for providing a monthly list of provisions required within the set budget.
The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and organizational skills. They will also be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
