In this critical role, you will manage the Practice appointment system, process face-to-face and telephone requests, home visits, and telephone consultations, while ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional. Your responsibilities will also include arranging appointments with various specialists and healthcare providers, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare staff, and maintaining accurate records. Furthermore, you will provide support to the pharmacy team, help with record-keeping and data management, and develop close relationships with patients to foster trust and build confidence in our services. These core responsibilities showcase your extensive interaction with patients, enabling a better understanding of their needs and expectations. Responsibilities:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is essential, preferably with exposure to electronic health records. You should be well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with software applications used in healthcare settings is crucial, such as SystmOne or other electronic patient record systems. Basic knowledge of patient record systems, audit procedures, and clinical governance is also desirable.
