About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to lead our team of coaching staff in delivering a high-quality, school-holiday experience for children aged 5 to 17. As the first-point of contact for staff, children, parents, and our central office team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our camps, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, and upholding our high standards of child care and wellbeing.

As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of coaching staff to deliver a high-quality, school-holiday experience for children aged 5 to 17
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our camps, including administration, preparation, and communication with staff and parents
  • Maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, including supervision of children during lunch, morning and afternoon breaks, and implementation of our behaviour management policy
  • Upholding our high standards of child care and wellbeing, including child safety, health and safety, and safeguarding
  • Working closely with our Regional Manager and central office team to ensure the success of our camps

We are looking for someone with:

  • 12 months' experience working with children and young people
  • Experience in a management or leadership position
  • Childcare, sports, or teaching-related degree (or related qualification)
  • Knowledge and experience of Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Safeguarding experience and understanding
  • Organised and able to follow policy and procedure
  • Vibrant, resilient, and a team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
