About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in a Secondary School located in Melton Mowbray.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the classroom and ensuring the smooth delivery of educational activities in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and respect among students.
  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver educational activities and lessons as directed by the regular teacher, adhering to the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to students, helping them to understand and complete tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: A good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum, with the ability to deliver lessons and activities effectively.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students of various ages and abilities.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a teaching or support role, preferably in a secondary education setting.
