About the Role
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Audiology Secretary to join their team. As an Audiology Secretary, you will provide administrative support to the Audiology Department, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial support to the Audiology Department, answering general queries and carrying out administrative tasks.
- Deal with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff, face to face and by telephone, requiring excellent communication skills.
- Undertake audio typing on a regular basis, with accuracy being essential.
- Work knowledge of common computer applications, including Word, is desirable, as you will be required to carry out a wide range of transactions and associated data input.
- Provide a comprehensive, effective, accurate and timely service to audiologists, patients and the management team.
Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in administrative duties is required for this role.
- Knowledge and experience of stock ordering systems.
- Minute Taking.
- Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Care/Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- RSA III Typing/Word Processing or equivalent.
