Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and imaginative drama lessons to students, inspiring them to develop performance, communication, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons to students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Inspire students to develop performance, communication, and teamwork skills through drama activities and performances.
  • Plan, produce, and direct school performances and drama showcases, promoting student creativity and confidence.
  • Foster a safe and encouraging atmosphere where students feel confident expressing themselves through drama.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate creative arts across the curriculum.
  • Track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them reach their potential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching drama in a secondary setting.
  • A passion for drama and the arts, with the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • A creative approach to teaching and commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
  • The ability to lead, direct, and support extracurricular productions and drama clubs.
