Data & Analytics Business Partner

Are you a data enthusiast with an interest in turning insights into actionable business strategies?

As a Data & Analytics Business Partner at Aon, you will be working with senior partners to build solutions that help clients and colleagues make better decisions.

You will be responsible for attending daily stand-up meetings with the Data & Analytics team, meeting with business unit leaders to discuss upcoming initiatives, and diving into data analysis using SQL and Power BI.

You will also design and build data & analytics solutions, think about data ingestion, refinement, and visualisation, and plan and lead Data Council meetings to agree priorities and communicate progress to partners.

This is an outstanding opportunity to build and influence the analytics landscape across Aon UK, using innovative technology.

You'll be able to directly influence business decisions by translating complex data into actionable strategies, impacting Aon's direction and success.

You'll play a key role in driving a data-driven culture within the organisation, transforming how the company brings to bear data for decision-making.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and to form strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels, whether in person or virtually.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to help prioritise, plan and project manage deliveries, and to resolve issues or conflict with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working in a similar role with a focus on business partnering or consulting.
