Job Summary:

Sourcing Engineer required for a permanent position at Wise Employment Group in Plymouth, Devon. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field and excellent Excel and SAP skills.

Main Duties:

  1. Apply engineering knowledge to support new product introductions and cost reduction activities.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  3. Identify and mitigate risks in the Supply Chain.
  4. Reduce inventory levels and identify opportunities for further reductions.
  5. Ensure compliance with sourcing and contracting policies, risk management programs, and ethics.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Excel and SAP proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
