Welding Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Welding Instructor to augment our full-time teaching faculty at Brightpoint Community College. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong background in welding.

About the Position:

This is a part-time, adjunct position teaching oxyacetylene, shielded metal arc, and inert-gas welding courses, including equipment, safety operations, and welding practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for classroom and laboratory instruction, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience.

Responsibilities:

• Taught oxyacetylene, shielded metal arc, and inert-gas welding courses, including equipment, safety operations, and welding practice.
• Provided classroom and laboratory instruction, enhancing the student learning process.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, or an Associate or Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field. A criminal background check is required for all employees.

Educational Requirements:

Salary Range:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
