About the Job:

The Business Development Partner will play a crucial role in driving strategic support and guidance on all people-related matters across dedicated business units within our organization. This position serves as a conduit between the business and the People team, encompassing various aspects of the colleague journey, including organizational design, education on People processes, engagement activities, risk monitoring, and project work that may span multiple business units or address specific objectives.

You will empower key stakeholders and internal customers to execute their people plans effectively and commercially.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and managers at all levels within specific business units, contributing to the design and delivery of business unit people plans through initiatives and projects.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees at all levels, enabling their development and driving high performance, while partnering with leaders to implement effective performance management processes, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Consult on resource requirements, department structures, employee relations, and performance improvement, offering coaching and advice to managers as needed. Support change and transformation activities.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify key people metrics (internal and external) and colleague insights, informing ways to enhance colleague engagement and drive business performance.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of people risks through succession planning and single person dependency/key business process identification.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner / People Partner role within a sizable business, with expertise in advising on a broad range of people-related topics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for supporting data and reporting tasks.
  • Experience within a regulated business environment.
  • Talent Acquisition experience, including proactively sourcing candidates in challenging markets.

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 per annum
