About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract with a view to making it permanent. The role involves working with and supporting renal transplant recipients in the outpatient setting throughout their transplant journey.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing skills to see patients autonomously within the clinic setting. They will work closely with the Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist, Divisional Nurse, Senior Clinical Nurses, Senior Nurse - Education and Workforce, Nursing Directorate, and Human Resources.

Person Specification

Experience:

  • Evidence of 3 years experience as a registered nurse in an Acute hospital setting.

Desirable:

  • Non-medical prescribing
  • Health Assessment or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in transplantation
