About the Role:

An excellent primary school based in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and proactive part-time EYFS teacher to join their team. This role will be for Thursday and Friday each week, providing the ideal opportunity for a teacher seeking a flexible working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

  • As an EYFS teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of young children, creating a safe and engaging learning environment on Thursday and Friday each week.
  • Teaching the EYFS curriculum, focusing on each child's developmental needs, building on their strengths, and supporting areas for growth.
  • Developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills through play-based and structured activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
  • Supporting children's social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships and gain confidence.
  • Monitoring children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents on their child's development.
