Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservation Professional at Tilgate Zoo. As part of our dynamic team, you will be involved in all aspects of zoo operation, from visitor experience and enclosure design to animal welfare and conservation.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals (DMZAA) or equivalent qualification. You will work with a range of domestic and exotic species, supporting the highest standards of animal husbandry.

Your responsibilities will include all aspects of animal husbandry, enclosure and site maintenance while upholding the highest standards of health and safety. You will also work closely with our Senior Keepers and Zoo Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the zoo.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
