About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your duties will include attending client meetings, discussing design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production, modification, testing, and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software
  2. Writing detailed functional design specifications
  3. Configuring system architecture and network connections
  4. UK site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)
  5. For lead positions, the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers for optimal output.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills
  3. Previous control system experience (2 years+)
  4. Clean UK Driving License
  5. Eligible to work in the UK
  6. Experienced with PLC programming (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi) or SCADA development (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FTViewSE, WinCC, ClearSCADA, Iconics Package).
