Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Director/Partner to develop and implement tax strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax legislation changes, identifying opportunities for clients and providing expert advice.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in UK Tax, preferably gained from a reputable Accountancy firm.
  • Proven track record of mixed tax work, with a strong understanding of personal and corporate tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and provide expert advice.
  • Proficiency in IT Tax software, with experience of CCH and Alphatax advantageous.
