Job Title: HGV Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, including fault diagnostics, MOT preparation, and mechanical and electrical repairs.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. You will work closely with our workshop manager to ensure that our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, and that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining DPD's fleet of vehicles
  • Fault diagnostics and repair
  • MOT preparation and testing
  • Weekly and monthly checks of HGV vehicles
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
