Automotive Safety Manager Position

Elevation Recruitment Group is pleased to partner with a specialist manufacturing business in West Yorkshire, undergoing significant transformation. As part of their growth and development, they are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and implement health and safety initiatives across the business.
This opportunity allows an experienced professional to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring employee health and safety while driving continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies in line with current legislation, ensuring regular reviews and updates.
- Collaborate with production teams to drive safety improvements and ensure practical, effective safety practices are embedded across the business.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, providing training and regular meetings for employees.
- Lead the process of risk assessments, inspections, and accident investigations.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to reduce safety risks across all areas.
- Investigate incidents and complaints related to health and safety and produce detailed reports for senior management.
- Support the implementation of safety improvement projects, including preparing business cases and proposals for funding.
- Ensure compliance with First Aid and Fire Marshall responsibilities as per company policies.
Salary: Estimated £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Requirements:- NEBOSH qualified
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office tools.
- A practical approach to applying health and safety best practices in a manufacturing setting.
