About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collections Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Collections Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering mail and parcels to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Check post-boxes and collect mail from post offices
  • Visit business customers at prearranged times to collect mail
  • Sort mailbags and ensure each piece reaches its destination on time
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong sense of community and pride in delivering excellent customer service
  • Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated individual
  • Happy to walk for long periods and work in various weather conditions
