About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Control Team as a Support Officer. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring that they receive a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support to customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the delivery of technical assistance to the Building Control Team and its customers, including the collation of information and the preparation of documents.
  • Index and file documents, maintain records, and use established formats and software to perform administrative tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the service, including photocopying, filing, and ordering.

Requirements

  • GCSEs above C grade, including Maths and English, and NVQ2.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact in an effective and efficient way.
  • Good knowledge of IT, including experience of various Office packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
