Thalia Waste Management, a leading innovator in waste-to-energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Treatment Plant Supervisor to join its dynamic team. This pivotal role supports the Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Mechanical Treatment (MT) plant and tipping hall, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the MT plant and tipping hall, guaranteeing smooth and efficient processes.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Mechanical Treatment Operators and Sort Line Operatives, fostering a collaborative and safe working environment.
  • Manage and execute Mechanical Treatment procedures and risk assessments in accordance with BSI standards, ensuring all operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in people management or supervision, demonstrating strong leadership and team-building abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to various computer-based systems are also essential.

An estimated annual salary for this position is around £40,000-£50,000, based on industry standards and the location.
