Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead day-to-day people processes, provide guidance to managers on policies, procedures, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with our culture and values. They will oversee various services, including family leave, probation, flexible working, and absence/performance management.

Responsibilities
  • Policies and Procedures: Provide guidance to managers on People policies, procedures, and employee relations to ensure alignment with boxxe's culture and values.
  • Day-to-Day Services: Oversee family leave, probation, flexible working, and absence/performance management.
  • Admin and Payroll Tasks: Assist the People Coordinator with admin and payroll tasks, covering new joiners, leavers, contract changes, and absences.
  • Employee Relations Cases: Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and absence management.
  • Better Practice and Compliance: Ensure best practice in people management, maintaining compliance with employment law and reducing risks to boxxe.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Keep accurate records within the HR system (HiBob), provide reports, and support the creation of monthly People KPIs.
  • Trend Analysis and Improvement: Collaborate with Business Partners to analyse trends (e.g., turnover, sickness) and identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Policies Development: Develop, implement, and refine People policies and procedures.
  • Payroll Accuracy and Benefits Management: Work with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and manage day-to-day benefits.
