Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled BMS Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a BMS Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine BMS maintenance on various sites and responding to callouts from our Maintenance Operations Team. This role will also involve completing small works such as replacing BMS controllers, modules, sensors, or actuators. Our client sites are located in London and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a BMS Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine BMS maintenance and responding to callouts. You will also be involved in completing small works projects, such as replacing BMS controllers or modules. You will work closely with our Maintenance Operations Team to ensure that all sites are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine BMS service visits
  • Respond to BMS callouts
  • Support maintenance operations team with customer queries
  • Complete small works projects, such as replacing BMS controllers or modules
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports on site during the visit
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years' experience with BMS systems
  • Knowledgeable with system controls and operation strategies
  • Experience with MCC panels and control panel wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of Trend networking - current LAN, Ethernet, BACnet, and LonWorks
  • Experience with supervisors such as Trend 963 and/or IQvision software
  • Understanding of mechanical plant operation and control
  • Understanding of electrical systems
  • Ability to work effectively without close supervision
