The Role: Management Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the production of financial reports, budget statement reconciliation, and analysis. They will also investigate variances, identify data processing errors, and make corrective changes.

As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with budget holders and other Trust colleagues to ensure accurate forecasting and budget setting exercises. Your strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex data effectively will be invaluable assets in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of NHS targets and Trust priorities;
