Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Despatch Operative. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

• Collate, pick, pack, and label customer orders based on packing sheets.
• Pack items for stock as requested.
• Pick and pack aluminium for powder coating.
• Report any quality issues to a senior team member.
• Clean your workstation at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with the team to conduct quarterly stock checks accurately and on time.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Comply with company risk assessments and follow all Health and Safety regulations.

Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:15, with opportunities for overtime during busy periods.

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity.
• Previous packing experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
• Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Basic IT knowledge, as you'll be required to print off labels and complete internal training.
• Own transport is required due to rural location.
• Ideally, a full UK driving license for occasional collections and deliveries.
• Eagerness to learn, develop and contribute to the company objectives by undertaking additional tasks.
• Physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting.
