Dental Nurse Role in Theatres

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental nurse to join our theatre team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 4 Theatre Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional care throughout all dental clinics.
  • Prepare patients for treatment, including pre- and post-operative instructions as needed.
  • Ensure the surgery is well-maintained, including equipment and instruments, and arrange repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure medical emergency drugs and equipment are up-to-date and readily available.
  • Provide chair-side assistance during general anaesthetic and exodontia sessions.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, offering an attractive relocation payment if you relocate to the local area. You will also enjoy comprehensive NHS terms and conditions, including extensive holidays and Agenda for Change pay with enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have a Dental Nurse qualification enabling registration with the General Dental Council, relevant experience working as part of a dental team, and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
