About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Lawyer to join our Serious Injuries Team at Admiral Group Plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Intermediate and Multi-Track Files, achieving targets, and supporting Grade A fee earners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of up to 25 pre-litigated and litigated SIT multi-track & intermediate track files, with a mix of Part 7 litigated and non-litigated files.
  • Support to Grade A Fee Earners: Assist Grade A solicitors on high value/catastrophic files with delegated tasks, accompany them to conferences, attend upon witnesses, and client visits.
  • Mentoring and Guidance: Provide guidance to Case Assistants within SIT and support the wider firm/other departments through clinics and training.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior case handling experience in personal injury is essential, with previous experience of running Part 7 claims and handling multi-track litigation highly desirable.
  • Location: You will be required to work from our Cardiff office one day per week, with occasional travel to attend upon clients, witnesses, and/or experts.

  • Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary package, dependent on experience.
  • Benefits: 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service, up to a maximum of 38 days (including bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave.
