Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 'good' school in Haringey. This is a full-time position that starts ASAP and will run until July 2025.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering phonic sessions, assessing the individual learning needs of pupils, and positively managing challenging behaviour. They will also liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals who work with the children, supervise activities, and work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child-centred education to help engage the children.

Requirements:
  • Deliver phonic sessions
  • Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
  • Positively manage challenging behaviour
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals who work with the children
  • Supervise activities
  • Work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child-centred education to help engage the children
  • Work with children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
