Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Summary:

Excel Engineering Recruitment ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and repair on commercial gas appliances
  • Perform PPM Schedules and meet set KPI Targets
  • Work on a mobile basis, visiting commercial sites including offices, showrooms, and student accommodation
  • Work a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying
  • Opportunities for overtime and career progression

About the Company:

Our client is a reputable and well-established Building Services company, specialising in M&E Engineering, including commercial gas and HVAC maintenance. They have close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.

Requirements:

  • Recognised industry qualifications, including Gas Safe and ACS commercial gas
  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts is advantageous
  • Motivated and trustworthy individual
