Creative Director

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Creative Director to lead our Theatre Development Programme at Scottish Youth Theatre Limited. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of professional theatre-making and an aptitude for providing creative mentorship, theatre expertise, and encouragement to early-career young artists.

The programme will focus on developing the skills and confidence of 6 young theatre-makers through a range of 1-2-1 engagements, group workshops, and ongoing dramaturgical input throughout the rehearsal process.

You will be responsible for providing inspiring prompts and guidance to help young artists bring their new work to life. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of emerging talent in Scotland's theatre scene.

We offer a competitive salary of £4065 per annum, as well as the opportunity to work with a talented team of individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people through theatre.
